- Pay Increase: The Company has advised that, subject to no implementation issues, the general wage increase and retroactive pay will be in our pay on the November 15th or November 29th
- Federal Election (Monday, October 21st): TEAM and the IFPTE are non-partisan, however we understand the benefits of engaging with our political leaders on matters impacting our members. We reached out to all candidates for each of the three main political parties who have a campaign office in Winnipeg. The primary purpose was to discuss Bell’s ongoing job reductions in Manitoba and the overall impact on the province. Understandably, this is an extremely busy time for the candidates and most were unable to accommodate a meeting in the small window we had available. However, the following candidates did agree to meet with us to discuss our concerns and exchange ideas:
- Kevin Lamoureux (Winnipeg North)
- Evan Krosney (Kildonan-St. Paul)
- Lawrence Toet (Elmwood-Transcona)
- Daniel Blaikie (Elmwood-Transcona)
- Leah Gazan (Winnipeg Centre)
- Jim Carr (Winnipeg South Centre)
- Elizabeth Shearer (Winnipeg South Centre)
- Home Mailing Address: If you have already provided your information you can ignore the rest of this paragraph. In preparation for distributing a monetary grievance settlement award to our membership, and in preparation for a possible mail-out ballot for the upcoming TEAM Board elections, we are requesting that you provide your current home mailing address to the TEAM Office. Thank you.
