• IFPTE Scholarship Winner: We are pleased to announce that a TEAM member’s child and/or grandchild has once again been awarded an IFPTE Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. scholarship.  Sparsh Agrawal, son of TEAM member Pooja Agrawal, will receive $2,500 USD towards his university education.  This fall, Sparsh will be attending the University of Pennsylvania, where he will be pursuing the Jerome Fisher Management and Technology Program, completing a dual degree majoring in Computer Science and Economics.

Look for applications for this year’s TEAM Scholarships to be sent out in August.

  • Members Approve Revised Constitution and Bylaws: The proposed revisions to the constitution and bylaws passed with overwhelming approval from members!  We wish to extend our thanks and appreciation to everyone who participated in the process.
  • Bell PMP Mid Year Reviews:  As we head into the Mid Year PMP review period, we are again stressing the importance that members understand the performance objectives and leadership competencies on which they are being assessed, how to achieve them, and the reasoning to support any gaps that are identified.  Not only is 30% of the Achievement Incentive Plan (AIP) based on the PMP results, but in some cases a subpar assessment can lead to being pre-screened on job postings or placed on a Performance Improvement Plan.

We recommend members take time during their Mid Year review meetings to clarify any aspects of the PMP that may be unclear and to seek clear directions in writing on what is required of them to achieve the objective or competency should any gaps be identified. If you have concerns about your PMP assessment, we encourage you to please contact Alyssa Hung, TEAM’s Labour Relations Officer, to discuss options to address your concerns.  TEAM has assisted a number of members with AIP/PMP related grievances.
