MFL Health & Safety Conference: We have an opportunity for up to two TEAM members to attend the 2024 MFL Health and Safety Conference.
Date: February 1-2, 2024
Location: Canad Inns Polo Park, Winnipeg, MB
Participants can choose one (and an alternate) of the following two-day workshops to attend:
- Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace
- Supporting Injured Workers with WCB Claims
- Accommodation and Return to Work
- Workplace Health & Safety Committees: Strategies for Creation and Effective Functioning
- Workplace Health and Safety Incident Investigations
- Workplace Violence and Harassment: Strategies for Prevention and Response
TEAM will request to release participants from their regular work duties at Bell, and cover the members’ pay and conference registration fees, as well as reimburse for associated meal, parking, and other applicable expenses to attend. Should there be more interest in attending than available spaces, preference will be given to members who currently sit on a workplace health and safety committee at Bell (Local or Policy) or who work in a supervisory role, and who have not attended in previous years.
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP here by 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 11, 2024 and specify your first and alternate choice of workshops. Please be advised that your first choice may not be available, in which case you will be registered for your alternate choice. Confirmation of registration will be provided to members selected to attend.
