Collective Agreement $500 Pensionable Lump Sum: TEAM has received confirmation from Bell that the $500 pensionable lump sum payment will be on our November 7th pay.
Bell’s Pay Equity Plan: We understand some members have received notices about pay increases, including lump-sum payments, under the Pay Equity Plan that Bell posted on September 1, 2025. This plan was posted without agreement from the Pay Equity Committee or the nine Employee Representatives, who unanimously supported a different compensation-comparison method. Rather than working with the Committee or seeking assistance from the Pay Equity Commission to resolve the dispute, Bell proceeded unilaterally. These actions do not align with pay equity legislation, which requires joint participation in developing and approving such plans.
TEAM is working in collaboration with Unifor and IBEW to address these actions, and a Notice of Dispute has been filed with the Pay Equity Commissioner.
If you have questions regarding pay equity increases and/or retro lump sum payments received under Bell’s plan, please contact ASKHR@bell.ca. To learn more about pay equity, please click here.
