Referendum Results
The proposed revisions to our Constitution and Bylaws passed with overwhelming approval from members, with 96% of votes cast in favour of the changes. Thank you to members who participated in the referendum process. The revised governance documents, Constitution and Bylaws, are available online.
TEAM Board Elections
In our memo from November 20th, we advised we were holding an election for President and two (2) Board Members – there has been a change, and now the election will just be for the two board members.
Congratulations to Dave Eyjolfson on being acclaimed as TEAM’s President. Dave brings three years of experience in the role, along with a strong commitment to our members.
In accordance with Bylaw 13.9, candidates for the contested positions were invited to submit a written campaign statement, 100-words maximum. The names of the candidates, and where applicable, links to their campaign statements were provided to members in our memo of November 27th.
Voting Information
Similar to the recent ratification vote for our renewed Collective Agreement and the referendum on the revised Constitution and Bylaws, the TEAM Board Election vote will be conducted electronically by independent accredited provider, Simply Voting inc. Members will receive an email from Simply Voting (to your work email address) on the morning of Friday, December 5, with an individualized link to the ballot.
The voting window will be open from 10:00am, Friday, December 5th to 2:00pm, Monday, December 15th.
