TEAM Scholarships: Congratulations to this year’s winners of the TEAM-IFPTE Local 161 Annual Scholarships and thank you to all applicants. The Scholarship Committee awarded four scholarships of $1,000 each to the following members’ children as first year post-secondary students enrolled in university, community college, trade school or an apprenticeship program:
- Rae Baxter (Beth Baxter)
- Domenic Chao (Jeffery Chao)
- Michael Faria (Paul Faria)
- Olivia Wurch (Brian Wurch)
Additionally, the Committee selected member, Elisha Nishwan, to receive an award to help defray the cost of a work or career related academic or vocational course or seminar.
