ARTICLE 28 – PERSONAL LEAVE DAYS
| 28.01 |
All Regular Full-Time employees, excluding those from the Unifor and IBEW jurisdictions acting in TEAM’s jurisdiction, shall be credited with five (5) Personal Leave Days on January 1st of each year. |
| 28.02 |
Employees commencing Regular Full-Time employment subsequent to January 1st of any given year, and Regular Part-Time employees, will be credited with Personal Leave Days on a pro-rated basis.

| 28.03 |
Regular Full-Time and Regular Part-Time employees from other jurisdictions acting in TEAM’s jurisdiction shall accrue up to three (3) Personal Leave Days on a pro-rated basis. |
| 28.04 |
Employees will receive their basic rate of pay for each Personal Leave Day. For employees with variable hours, the average of the employee’s daily earnings (excluding overtime) for the 20 days worked immediately before the first day of personal leave. |
| 28.05 |
The Company reserves the right to decline requests for specific dates based on operational requirements. However, where the reason for the Personal Leave Day is mandated by section 206.6 of the Canada Labour Code, the Company may not deny the leave request, but may require documentation only if it is reasonably practicable for the employee to obtain and provide it.

| 28.06 |
There shall be no carrying over of Personal Leave Days beyond December 31st of each year, nor will there be a cash payment in lieu of unused Personal Leave Days under any circumstances. |
| 28.07 |
Employees will not be entitled to stack these Personal Leave Days on top of those provided by the Canada Labour Code. |
